outfit of the day - new skirt for spring

Today is one of those days where the weather is a little bit iffy, and it begs the question about whether or not a skirt is appropriate.

Now that we're well into April, I've sworn off tights until the fall, so I need to be really careful selecting days on which I wear a skirt or dress.

Today was a questionable day, but it didn't matter.

As I noted in my last Wednesday Wants, I was craving this teal lace skirt from Loft.

Lo and behold, my grandmother sent it to me out of nowhere.

EPIC. And very thoughtful.

And of course I had to try it out as soon as possible!

So overall, it goes without saying that I love the spring.

  1. Very cute! Love the nude heels with the outfit! This unpredictable weather is killlliiiinnnnggg me. One day it is 70 and the next it is 54. It's really throwing me off! (popping over from WIWTW link up!)

    1. So true! This weekend was beautiful so hopefully it's a preview of the days to come :)

  2. Grandmas are awesome, huh? The skirt is so pretty. Our weather has been like a roller coaster lately. I have been layering like crazy just in case. Heather

    1. They really are! Layering is definitely a good bet, but this weekend was beautiful - hope it stays this way!

  3. I love that you can pull of a green skirt! Not sure I could do it.
